This is the third time I have photographed the Taton family over the past year or so and I have so much fun every time.  They are just the sweetest family.  The last time I saw Greyson was his newborn session.  Ugh, he is so big and SO cute!  Greyson decided that the only way he was going to smile was if mom was running around behind me like a crazy person or if a random walker happened to walk by, he would smile at them (stinker!).  We also found out that he isn’t too excited about certain textures on his hands (i.e. cake).  Dad tried to get him to dig in by sticking Greyson’s hand in the cake and that was way traumatizing for sweet Greyson!  Ultimately, we needed a little help from mom and dad during the cake smash part but those are the things that make a session memorable and unique!  Oh, the stories mom and dad can tell Greyson about his one year photo session when he gets older 🙂

Happy first birthday, Greyson!

Oh Miss Isabelle!  Isabelle’s mom brought a few super cute outfits to use (that owl hat…come on!) so we were able to get several shots with the parents as well as a few set ups with the outfits.  When we got to the purple set, she decided she wanted her legs straight and she wasn’t having any of my posing.  We just rolled with it!

Here are a few of my favorites from Isabelle’s session!  Congrats, Hannon family!

Michaela had only two requests for her senior session, sunflower fields and the buildings of downtown.  We decided to separate those into two different sessions, one in the summer and one in the fall.

I was SO excited to shoot in a sunflower field.  I didn’t realize how tall sunflowers got so I’m glad we brought a chair and ladder (I’m afraid of heights so the entire time I’m on a ladder I am secretly freaking out!).  Michaela’s outfit choice was perfect and I loved the floppy hat she brought that just topped it all off.  She rocked it!  I can’t wait until our fall session when we can roam the streets of downtown Wichita.  Check out my favorite images from Part 1 of Michaela’s senior session!

When Staci contacted me late last year hoping to get her six children (all teenage and up) in the same place at the same time for photos, I immediately starting thinking about ideas.  Well, it only took half a year later to get the kids together but we found a time that would work.  Staci’s only request was that she wanted outside-the-box poses, locations and ideas.  We had so much fun roaming around downtown finding spots and coming up with ideas on the spot.  I’m pretty sure all of her kids could be models and it was so interesting to see how different their personalities were!

Sweet Adeline was a dream baby for her newborn session.  And those gorgeous big sisters of hers? Oh my goodness.  I imagine these three will be the best of friends as they grow up!
