Sweet Reagan came in to see me last week!  I love the muted pink/neutrals we used for her session.  Mom requested a weight/length/time image and I love how that turned out.  I think my favorite just might be the very last shot of the session though with mom’s necklace!  We tried a few different ideas and Reagan just wasn’t having it…but once we put her upright on mom’s chest, she settled right down.  Just perfect!

Congrats, Culver family!  She is GORGEOUS!

Last, but certainly not least, in my long line of baby girls was Ruby girl.  Like many new moms, Ruby’s mom had a lot going on right after Ruby was born and next thing she knew her baby was nearly two months old.  Traditionally, newborn sessions are best between 4-14 days.  I have had successful sessions at day 3 as well as well after the one month mark.  It is definitely never too late to get your baby in for portraits.  I hate hearing that some moms think it is too late by the time they get around to it and then just don’t get pictures taken at all.  Although Ruby wasn’t sleepy and posable, her eye contact was amazing and she was super alert, which I LOVE.

Ruby’s name has a super special meaning and mom wanted to pull in a few deep reds into the session because of that.  I loved the wrap and headband set mom brought so much, I am thinking about getting some for the studio!  So, so cute!  Check out some of my favorites from Ruby’s session!

Miss Olivia did fantastic during her session.  Mom brought this amazing crown and was really hoping we could get a shot of it on Olivia doing the “froggy” pose (where their little hands are on their chins).  Many people are surprised to find out that particular pose is actually a composite of multiple shots.  Some babies won’t go into the froggy pose but Olivia was a champ and we were able to do it not once but twice.  Once in daddy’s hands and then again on the beanbag.  Enjoy all my favorite images from Olivia’s session!

I just loved all the images from sweet Henli’s session.  She was the first newborn girl in my week long baby girl marathon and I just loved all the girly touches we added to her session.  Mom brought a super cute Royals headband too!  Enjoy some of my favorites from her session!

Let’s talk about how gorgeous baby Lindsey is.  She has natural blonde highlights, people!  Seriously stunning.  She was a dream baby at her session as well and she was over a month old.  Not to mention she has the best name ever (we share a name).  Enjoy my favorites from her session!
