My name is Lindsey and I am the photographer behind Vintage Grain Photography. I have an amazing and patient husband, Tim, and two hilarious children, Everleigh and Chase. I am a Dr. Pepper addict with a DVR full of reality television. Ask me about the latest episode of The Real World and I will likely talk your ear off!
My favorite part of my job is capturing genuine love and happiness; a mother and father holding their new baby, a newly engaged couple or grandparents surrounded by their grandchildren. I know that I have some amazing shots when I leave a session feeling like I MUST START EDITING IMMEDIATELY.
I’m a sucker for outdoor sessions during the “golden hour” (the first hour of light in the morning or last hour of light in the evening) but I also find indoor sessions and other lighting conditions fun and challenging. I’m always looking for new locations to shoot and when I find a potential location, my poor children usually have an impromptu photo session to test it out.
Enough about me. Let’s talk about you!
I want you to leave our session excited to see the images that were captured and confident we got the shots you were hoping for. I want your children to talk about all the fun they had because it felt more like playing than a photo session. I want your husband to say “Hey, that wasn’t so bad!”. And above all, I want you to get images that perfectly capture this time in your life that you can look back on and smile!
